2014's summer gone already and it's about to going into autumn season, may be not much time left before snow comes. So here is your chance to browse Sonora pass area with bike, 3 days Bike-N-Hike opportunities.





1) 1st day adventure : 15.2 mils, it will vary depend on situation, can add mileage easily by taking PCT.

By bike. (see the red-line in the map).

  • Rolling the wheels from the trailhead near by 108 highway at 7:00AM.
  • Should reach the Leavitt Lake after 3 miles riding.
  • Going through Koenig Lake.
  • Arrive Latopie Lake, takes 4.7miles from the trailhead.
  • Hide/lock the bike.
By hike. (see the yellow-line in the map).

  • Just walking to west side of the lake, about 0.2 miles, then should see Pacific Crest Trail.
  • Not sure needing to XC or taking PCT, but taking the ridge line of the Leavitt Peak. Reach to the peak after 0.6 miles.
  • Hiking the ridgeline, 1.7miles and then going down to Blue Canyon Lake.
  • Wandering around the region., may do lunch brake.
  • Going back to PCT, 2 miles long
  • Retrieve the bike back.







2) 2nd day adventure : 21.9 mils





3) 3rd day adventure : 13.5 mils
